Description: Blue and white transferware bread plate in the “Oriental” pattern, produced in England by Ridgway in the 19th century. The design features a central scene of exotic architecture surrounded by floral and scenic reserves within an ornate border. Marked on the underside “Oriental, Ridgway, England.”
Measurements: 5.75" diameter
Materials: Glazed earthenware with transfer-printed decoration
Condition Note: Prominent crack running across the plate with staining, glaze crazing, and wear consistent with age. Stable for display but not recommended for functional use.
