Description:
An early 19th-century English blue and white transferware tea bowl, decorated with pastoral landscape scenes. Figures in period dress, cottages, bridges, and trees wrap around the exterior, while the interior rim features a delicate meandering border and faint central vignette at the bottom of the bowl. The form has a wide flared rim and a raised foot, typical of early 1800s tea bowls. A wonderful piece of transferware history, perfect for display in a china cabinet or styled on open shelving.

Condition Note:
Some staining, discoloration, and surface wear consistent with age, along with glaze imperfections from firing. Multiple chips on the rim.
