This antique opaline vase features a softly flared, scalloped rim and a classic baluster form, decorated throughout with hand painted floral motifs in red, blue, and green. The milky white opaline glass has a luminous, fiery quality that catches light beautifully, giving the piece an airy presence despite its solid form.
Vases like this were popular during the late 19th century, prized for their delicate appearance and decorative charm. Its small scale makes it especially versatile, perfect for a single stem, shelf styling, or adding a subtle pop of color to a layered vignette. A lovely example of decorative opaline.
